Last Thursday, the Rotary Club of Richmond Hill returned to a live format for their annual fundraiser at the Richmond Hill City Center to raise funds to support the civic group’s initiatives to support those in need in our community.

The low key celebration featured heavy appetizers and drinks, as well as a raffle drawing to win a golf cart, a rifle, and a cash prize.

“We are grateful to all of our sponsors that made this event a success and to everyone who purchased tickets.

Special thanks to Cross Resurrection Golf Carts for providing the golf cart, Daniel Defense for providing the rifle, and DX Print and Mail for sponsoring the raffle tickets,” said Rotary Club president Alex Tucker. “The most important part of the evening was that $12,000 was raised to help young people and seniors in our community.”

This year, Rotarian and CEO of Coastal EMC, Chris Fettes, won both the golf cart and the $500 cash prize and Dallas Daniels of Plantation Hardware won the rifle.

$1,000 level sponsors included Great Oaks Bank, Henderson Law Firm, Pittman Engineering, Coastal EMC, McDonald’s, Gardner Law Firm and Coastal Endodontics.

$500 level sponsors included MacAlJon, The Suites at Station Exchange, Richmond Hill Pharmacy, Southeastern Bank, Lesley Francis Public Relations, Ladson Law Firm, First Bank of Coastal Georgia, Reflections, Bocook Realty, Fish Tales, Robbie and Lisa Ward, and Debbie and Whit Hollowell. $250 level sponsors were Sommers Oil, Royal Ace Hardware and Crossroads Center.
