WHAT: 25th Annual Christmas Parade. The City of Richmond Hill will hold its 25th annual Christmas Parade on Saturday, Dec. 4, 2021 at 10 a.m. The event, themed “Silver Bells: It’s Christmas Time in the City,” will feature over 100 entrants, including high school bands from Richmond Hill, Hershel V. WHO: This year’s parade marshal is Mrs. Sarah Robinson. She is 99 and will celebrate her 100th birthday on Dec. 10. Born in 1921 in Indiana, Mrs. Robinson is a WWII veteran and met her husband, Robbie, at Fort Stewart. They settled in Richmond Hill in 1966, quickly becoming an important part of the community,

which Mrs. Robinson still serves diligently. She is still a blood donor, active at the Richmond Hill United Methodist Church, and has helped to raise, guide, and discipline countless youngsters, teenagers, and young adults that have always been a mainstay at her home in Richmond Heights.

WHEN: The parade is from 10 a.m. to noon. The parade route, shown in the image on the right, will be closed to all vehicle traffic at 9 a.m. by Richmond Hill Police Department to ensure the safety of parade spectators.
