From Richmond Hill Police Department reports:

Matter of record: A man reported Feb. 17 he caught a woman on camera multiple times “going on his property and feeding and watering his dog. (He) stated his dog is on a special diet, and that he really had no idea as to what (the woman) was actually feeding him.”

The woman told the officer “that the dog appeared dehydrated and did not have any water,” and she said “she used a bungee cord to lower a bucket of water onto (the complainant’s) property so the dog would have water.”

The officer told her that was still trespassing, and she was issued a criminal trespass notice.

Public intoxication: Police were called to Piercefield shortly before 5 p.m. Feb. 6 “in reference to an intoxicated subject falling off a moped.”

There, an officer met with the complainant, who said he saw the man fall of the moped and “believed (the man) was intoxicated.”

The moped rider backed that story up. “(He) advised he did fall off his moped,” the report said, noting the man declined treatment from EMS, had all the signs of having had a skinful and when asked if he’d been drinking, told the cops, “plenty.”

The man also was not sure where he lived but said he was coming from an aunt’s house. He was arrested and his moped was towed, etc.

Theft: A Harris Trail man reported Feb. 6 someone took his “rear driver-side tire and rim” off his vehicle. The man told RHPD the last time he saw the tire and rim was earlier that day. He discovered them missing about seven hours later.

The man’s vehicle was sitting on a Goodyear tire the man didn’t recognize. He said he’d prosecute if the thief was found.
