RHHS JROTC are champions at state competition
JROTC girls championship team

The Richmond Hill High School JROTC girls finished first and the boys second at last weekend's state championship in Griffin, Ga.

"These young cadets did amazing out there this weekend despite the rain and coldness," said Sandra Baker, JROTC booster president. "They gave 110 percent in every obstacle event they participated in. We are incredibly proud of them and proud to be a part of the JROTC Raider family."

As Maj. Gen. Christopher Norrie presented Col. Marc Austin and his wife Katie with accolades upon their departure, he called them “thank yous” from thousands of people.
