Erika is no longer considered a tropical system, the National Hurricane Center announced Saturday morning.

It is now what meteorologists call a "remnant low."

So if it does make its way to coastal Georgia, unless it regenerates, it will likely just be a rainmaker.

The hurricane center has discontinued all tropical storm watches and warnings and said the special advisory issued at 9:30 a.m. Saturday is the last one on the remnants of Erika.
