Join the Richmond Hill-Bryan County Chamber of Commerce for its August Lunch and Learn from noon-1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 14, at the chamber office, 2457 Highway 17, suite 100 in Richmond Hill.
The topic will be: Challenges and Opportunities for Independent Business.
This Lunch and Learn session will be led by Hector Claudio, an accomplished Richmond Hill resident with a diverse background as a web developer, content manager and senior software developer. He is currently director of development for Community Brands and is the founder/owner of the local, independent sunglasses company Every Day Boater.
Topics to be discussed:
• Direct business dealings with China including sourcing, locations, negotiations, websites, payment methods, samples and protection policies.
• Mock demonstration and discussion regarding key aspects for sourcing.
• Challenges, opportunities and choices that independent and small business owners face.
Lunch and Learn is complementary to RHBC Chamber members and invited guests and $15 for non-members. Please plan on bringing your own lunch; drinks are provided.
