The cities of Richmond Hill and Pembroke will both honor those who died in military service on Memorial Day with ceremonies at 11 a.m. Monday. Pembroke’s gathering will be in Waters Park at the corner of Railroad and College streets and be conducted under the auspices of the John Duggar American Legion Post 164.
Richmond Hill’s gathering will be in J.F. Gregory Park and will feature speakers, an honor guard from Fort Stewart, a 21-gun salute, posting of the colors and laying of the wreath.
The public is invited to both events.
