Fowler named to GMA board
Richmond Hill mayor to serve as president of 12th District

Richmond Hill Mayor Harold Fowler was elected to the Board of Directors for the Georgia Municipal Association (GMA) during the association’s annual meeting in Savannah June 24.  

“It is truly an honor to be elected to the GMA Board of Directors,” said Fowler. “I look forward to serving Richmond Hill and providing valuable input on decisions that will benefit our community.”

Fowler will serve as president of GMA’s 12th District.

The district includes cities in the following counties: Screven, Bulloch, Effingham, Chatham, Bryan, Liberty, McIntosh, Glynn and Camden. 

“We are pleased to have Mayor Fowler taking on this leadership position,” said GMA Executive Director Lamar Norton. “He’s well respected by his colleagues, and I’m sure he’ll provide great leadership to the cities in his district.”
