County sets planning workshop

A Bryan County strategic-planning conference has been scheduled for Sept. 24-25 at the Richmond Hill City Center. 
The goal for the conference is to assemble the county’s leadership to create a strategic plan for the entire county. The purpose of this plan would be to create strategies and implementation plans to significantly improve the economic vitality and assure the continued wise development of Bryan County.
Events for the first day, which run from 8 a.m.-4 p.m., include prioritizing major issues/opportunities, brainstorming goals for top-three issues and developing plans for the goals. Dinner will be from 5-7 p.m. at Marker 107.
The second day will go from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. and will include team-building activities and a tour of Ossabaw Island.
