The public is invited to the 3rd annual Blessing of the Fleet, this Wednesday, supporting local bus drivers and the "precious kids they carry," organizers from New Life Church Pavilion said.

The event will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the church, located at 16252 Ga. 144 in Richmond Hill.

Organizers said they expect 10 to 12 different denominations will be attending. "We look forward to hosting a great event with prayer, blessings and reflection on how important  you are to our children, schools and community."

A light lunch will be provided.
