Jennifer Coleman and Linda Adams, co-owners of the Whistle-Stop Cafe, recently marked the opening of their business with a ceremonial ribbon cutting.

The new restaurant is on Bacon Street in Pembroke. The cafe serves breakfast and lunch and is open from 5 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday. (Michelle Seger)
