Business notes: New hires at bank, Leadership Bryan applications

Great Oaks Bank

Laura Schlomer has joined Great Oaks Bank as Banking Officer, Richmond Hill Office Manager. Laura brings 7 years of banking experience to her new role. She is a 2012 graduate of Georgia Southern University with a bachelor’s degree in sports management with a minor in business management. She and her husband Wes are active members of Compassion Christian Church, Henderson campus, and live in Richmond Hill with their young daughter, Emma Jane.

Great Oaks Bank recently promoted Monica Easter to Mortgage Processor, serving Richmond Hill and Pooler customers.

Monica started with Great Oaks in August 2020 as head teller at the Savannah Quarters office. Monica and her husband are proud parents of Evan, 17 and Elianna, 14.

Monica serves as the women’s ministry leader at Freedom Fellowship.

Leadership Bryan 2022

The Richmond Hill Bryan County Chamber is now accepting applications and nominations for the Leadership Bryan Class of 2022. Founded in 2002, by the Richmond Hill Bryan County Chamber of Commerce, Leadership Bryan is designed to bring together a diverse group of potential leaders and provide a forum for a shared viewpoint on the needs of Bryan County.

The mission of this program is to develop a new generation of leaders to enhance the future of Bryan County.
