April 27: verbal dispute
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in response to a verbal dispute involving a juvenile.
April 27: theft by taking, driving with suspended license
Man reports that a woman stole his white 2017 Chevrolet Silverado, as well as his flip phone, license, and money from his wallet. The car and driver were subsequently found at an EnMarket, and the driver was arrested.
April 27: top brake light not working, no drivers’ license.
A traffic stop was conducted on a black Toyota Scion with the top brake light out on the vehicle. The driver did not have a drivers’ license.
April 27: headlights not working, drivers’ license suspended.
A traffic stop was conducted on a black passenger car traveling east on GA 30. The vehicle’s passenger side headlight was not operational, and the driver-side headlight was dim.
April 27: criminal trespass, damage to property.
Deputies respond to an Ellabell residence in reference to a trespassing complaint. The complainant advised that a female subject came onto his property and performed “donuts” in his yard, causing damage.
April 28: lost/mislaid property
Deputy responded to the BCSO south end office in reference to a lost tag. The complainant stated that his son lost his license plate somewhere on I-95 North Friday evening. He stated the tag was on the vehicle before his son left for work. His son was also stopped on his way to work by Savannah Airport Police for not having a tag on his vehicle.
April 28: domestic dispute
Deputies respond to a residence in reference to a welfare check. Woman reports that her son and herself got into a verbal argument. She also stated that she was pushed but did not want to press charges. She also stated because of how scared she was at the time she picked up a knife to defend herself “just in case”. She stated multiple times she did not want to pursue charges against her son but to give him enough time to find a place of his own to live. The woman was instructed by deputies on how to start the eviction process against her son.
April 28: Damage to property
Deputy arrived at a call for service on I-16 WB around the 143- mile marker. Driver told the deputy he was driving in the left lane when a red Jeep Wrangler went into the right lane and cut back into the left lane, passing him. As the Jeep did this, something came off the Jeep, or the Jeep flung something up from the road surface. The driver was unsure where the object came from. The object hit the front passenger side bumper of his vehicle. The damage caused by the object is cosmetic.
April 29: Terroristic threats and acts, harassing communications.
Deputy responds to a report that a man made threats to Quality Towing for towing his car. The complainant reports three total phone calls from an individual, who has been making threats and harassing him and his daughter over the phone.
April 29: Lost/mislaid property
Man reports missing tag; hasn’t received his official tag in the mail after his temporary tag expired.
