Feb 28: expired registration, driving while license is suspended/revoked

• Driver travelling east on Hwy 280 arrested for having a suspended license; car towed.

Feb 28: no driver’s license, no insurance, window requirements not met

• Black Nissan pickup truck travelling west on Hwy 280 had a cracked windshield and a darker window tint than is normally allowed; driver had expired insurance, no insurance.

Feb 28: no insurance

• White Dodge caravan parked near mailboxes had no valid insurance; registration cancelled. Vehicle was towed.

Feb 28: simple battery

• A female suspect attempted to take her grandmother's vehicle; during the altercation, the suspect physically assaulted her grandmother before barricading herself inside the residence and refusing to exit.

Mar 1: DUI, expired registration

• Officer conducts a traffic stop on a Black Chrysler 200 for an expired license plate. Driver given citations for DUI, expired registration.

Mar 1: no insurance

• Car stopped for no valid registration; driver given citation.

Mar 1: lost/mislaid property

• Woman reports that she hasn't received her registration in the mail yet; has been waiting since January. Report filed.

Mar 2: civil matter

• Deputy responds to a complaint regarding a trespassed person on church property (Missionary Baptist Church).

Mar 2: fire, damage to property

• Deputy dispatched in response to a structure 4re. Man reports that he was burning some debris in a barrel, but the fire got out of control. Due to the 4re, the whole back fence was damaged. Bryan County EMS and Fire were also on at the scene. 

Mar 2: DUI, speeding, failure to maintain lane

 • Truck traveling west on Hwy 204 was going 71 miles per hour in a 55 mph zone. Driver arrested/cited for speeding, failure to maintain lane, DUI.

Mar 3: Damage to property

• At the MegaSite. Man reports that a vehicle was parked behind him. As he was trying to leave, the trailer hitch on his truck struck the door of the other vehicle. When the owner of the other vehicle arrived, he demanded payment for the damages.The man said that he was going to call the police first, but once the other man heard this he immediately fled. 

Mar 3: Injured person

• Officer responds to MegaSite regarding a trauma call. Man was working on a pipe and it exploded. Casualty was unconscious but breathing. Man was transported to Memorial Health University via helicopter. Identity unknown except for his birth year; language barrier noted.

Mar 3: Agency assist

• Richmond Hill PD officers were dispatched to Taco Bell (Ford Avenue) in reference to a physical fight. One individual involved had a warrant out for her arrest, and was later detained.
