From Bryan County Sheriff ’s Office reports:
August 2: A Flock camera located on Highway 204 at Morgan’s Bridge Road in Ellabell, Georgia, was vandalized. This camera is owned and operated by the Bryan County Sheriff ’s Office. Four bullet holes were found in the camera.
August 2: Officers respond to a report of underage drinking.
August 2: Two individuals report that a strong wind blew their canopy onto the top of their 2019 Chrysler 300.
August 2: A man reports that his aunt made “concerning” comments on a social media post.
August 2: A woman reports that she left her vehicle at a private landing located approximately one mile from Morgan’s Bridge while she spent time at the bridge. There, another woman told her that she had slashed the tires on the vehicle parked at the private landing. The complainant stated that she did not witness the woman damage the tires but suspects her of committing the act based on the statement allegedly made to her.
August 2: While on patrol, a Sergeant observed and assessed one of the Flock cameras, located at Bill Futch Road and the Bulloch County line, to be damaged. It appeared that someone broke it by hitting it with an object and destroying the camera housing mount.
August 2: 15-year-old juvenile arrested for trying to evade police officers; the juvenile was going at speeds of 80 MPH+ on Hwy 144 onto Crosswinds Dr. while doing so.
August 3: Driver arrested for driving with a suspended driver’s license.
August 4: Man reports a missing registration decal for his vehicle.
August 4: Man reports a paint sprayer he found on his porch; since it is not his, he said that he would like to report it as missing in case someone was looking for it. He further stated he has an idea of who it belongs to but does not have a name, address, or phone number. The man stated he thinks a homeless couple by the names of Jason and Heather are the ones who put the paint sprayer on the porch. He stated it’s okay if the paint sprayer stays on his porch until the owner collects it.
