Bacon defeats Boyette in BoE District 1 race

Paine Bacon has defeated Mindy Boyette in the race for BoE District 1.

Unofficially, Bacon received 378 votes, Boyette 176. Absentee ballots are not included in the total, but there are not enough to change the outcome.

BoE District 1 is in Pembroke. The seat is being vacated by Mary Warnell, who decided not to run again.
