It’s that time of the year when the scalding southern summer heat drives the artists of Arts on the Coast deep into their air-conditioned studios to create some very “cool art”. That is just what has happened and they are excited to share it with you.
On Friday, July 29, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., the public is invited to the Richmond Hill Visitor's Center & Art Gallery at 10750 Ford Avenue for Art Nite. The theme of the new exhibit is “Industrial”.
Come and enjoy delicious food, drink and the musical entertainment of country/folk singer, Court Taylor, who spent most of her childhood right here in Richmond Hill.
The meteoric growth of Richmond Hill has brought with it an emergence of a great number of new artists and diverse types of art forms. Arts on the Coast welcomes artists of all genres and is thrilled at the increase in membership that has accompanied this growth. If you, or someone you know, is interested in becoming a member, please visit the website artsonthecoast.org or feel free to speak with any of their members during Art Nite, or at its gallery Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
