Rebecca Ireland McGaughey, a member of the class of 2020, earned a bachelor of arts degree in environmental studies and sociology and anthropology, cum laude.from Wofford College.

McGaughey is from Richmond Hill.

She also received the Gerry Ginocchio Award, the departmental award for sociology and anthropology.

Jeremiah Hill of Richmond Hill, Georgia, has earned the Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from Valdosta State University.

Hill was among more than 560 students who completed their degree requirements during Summer Semester 2020.

Nicholas Hammesfahr of Richmond Hill, is among the new cadets to join the Corps of Cadets at the University of North Georgia (UNG) this fall after successful completion of Freshman Recruit Orientation Group (FROG) Week.
