Soldiers, retirees, Army civilians and guests can site in large-caliber weapons from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Aug. 15 at Red Cloud Range Complex-Echo. Bring your rifles or muzzle loaders of any caliber. “The Rock” Bodybuilding, Physique and Figure Contest will be Aug. 29 at Woodruff Theater, with weigh-in 8-9 a.m., pre-judging at 10 and the finals at 6:30 p.m.
Event is open to military ID cardholders (ages 17 and older) and civilians. Entry fees are $25 until Aug. 10, $35 Aug. 11-29, plus $15 for crossovers.
Each contestant will be judged on muscularity, symmetry and posing. First to third-place awards and trophies to be awarded.
There will be eight divisions.
Free bodybuilding seminars at Newman begin at 10 a.m. Aug. 15 and 22. Topics will include posing and presentation walk, suit and shoe selection and overall presentation.
