Marne Team. June has been an extremely dry month for the South but the daily rain probabilities are finally on the rise. We are now 7 inches below normal rain fall averages thus deepening the extreme draught across the south. This means you must be extra vigilant as you cookout over the holiday or even smoke a cigarette outside. Authorities are now recommending that people do not light fireworks over the holiday. You should leave that to the professionals. So get out and enjoy one of the local firework displays. Fire safety is just one vital part of the 100 Days of Summer Safety. Safety is Our Mission that we all must take very serious. So enjoy your time with family and friends but always think safety first. We want to see you through a summer full of fun and adventure.
