Tybee Island Pirate Festival –
Arrrgh you ready for some fun? The Tybee Island Pirate Festival is back, with a swashbuckling good time for all ages. Pirate parade, live entertainment, costume contest, kids’ activities and Thieves Market will be featured. All events will take place in the South Beach parking lot, rain or shine. Folk Music Festival –
The 22nd Annual Savannah Folk Music Festival will celebrate the beloved genre with performances by dozens of artists at venues around the city, culminating in a concert at Forsyth Park featuring Tom Chapin. All festival events are free. Visit www.savannahfolk.org for scheduling and details.

Oct. 8:
Book signing –
Support local literature with four area authors as they come together for a book signing. “Arcane Sunflower” author Courtney Summerlin, “Salzburg Pirate” author Jack Rodgers, “Lonely Deceptions” author D.R. Willis, and “The Sculptor’s Painting” author J.G. Weaver will sign copies of their books from 2-4 p.m. at All Things Chocolate & More (in the Publix shopping center on Hwy. 144).
