April 7: Richmond Hill Historical Society meeting – Learn about Civil War-era Savannah at this month’s meeting with a presentation by author Barry Sheehy and historian Laurie Ross. Meeting is free and open to the public, and will take place at the museum at 7 p.m. For more information, please call 756-3697.

Open auditions – Richmond Hill Community Theatre will hold open auditions for their summer production of “The Ransom of Red Chief” from 7-8:30 p.m. at the J.F. Gregory Park Amphitheater. Adults and children ages 5 and up are welcome. Pearls & Purses tea party –
Women and children are invited to put on their pearls, grab their purses and head over to the Richmond Hill City Center for an afternoon tea party to benefit the Richmond Hill YMCA’s Priceless Gifts campaign.
