April 7: Richmond Hill Historical Society meeting – Learn about Civil War-era Savannah at this month’s meeting with a presentation by author Barry Sheehy and historian Laurie Ross. Meeting is free and open to the public, and will take place at the museum at 7 p.m. For more information, please call 756-3697.

Open auditions – Richmond Hill Community Theatre will hold open auditions for their summer production of “The Ransom of Red Chief” from 7-8:30 p.m. at the J.F. Gregory Park Amphitheater. Adults and children ages 5 and up are welcome. Another audition will take place on April 10 from 3-5 p.m. Call 445-5001 or email for more information and an audition packet.

Fresh & Funky Art and Flea Market –
Shop for original art, flea market finds, baked goods, fresh produce and more from 9 a.m. to noon at Energy Oasis (off Timber Trail). Booths may be reserved by groups or individuals for $10. April 10:
Pearls & Purses tea party –
Women and children are invited to put on their pearls, grab their purses and head over to the Richmond Hill City Center for an afternoon tea party to benefit the Richmond Hill YMCA’s Priceless Gifts campaign. Enjoy traditional tea fare, crafts, dress-up and more from 1-4 p.m. Purchase tickets at the YMCA or by calling 756-5856.
