Mr. Frank and Mrs. Amy Ruiz of Richmond Hill announce the engagement of their daughter, Miss Ashley Cheri’ Ruiz to Mr. John Anthony Cravey, son of Mr. John and Mrs. Linda Cravey of Waycross.
The bride-elect is the maternal great-granddaughter of Ms. Gladys Miller and the late Patrick Denison of Screven and also the great-granddaughter of the late Ruth Merritt of Brunswick. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Denison of Screven and Ms. Doris Shead. She is the paternal granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Ruiz of Las Cruses, N.M.
The bride-elect is a 2006 graduate of Richmond Hill High School and is currently attending Strayer University as a business major.
The groom-elect is the maternal grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Langford Meeks of Alma. He is the paternal grandson of Mr. and Mrs. William Homer Cravey of Baxley.
The groom-elect is a 2000 graduate of Ware County High School. He received a bachelor's of finance degree from Georgia Southern University in 2008 and is currently employed by the U.S. Air Force, where he recently received a position as a pilot.
The ceremony will be at 5:45 p.m. July 24 in Sunbury with a reception to follow. All invitations have been mailed to family and friends.
After the wedding, the couple will reside in Midway.
