The Richmond Hill Historical Society’s next lecture will feature Laura Devendorf and Meredith Devendorf, owners of Dunham Farms and creators of the Springfield Legacy Foundation, at 7 p.m. Thursday in the Richmond Hill Museum.
A reception will follow the lecture. The event is free to the public.

Youth BBQ sale
The Richmond Hill Presbyterian Church Youth annual BBQ Sale will be held Saturday.
Boston butts, pulled pork and plate lunches will be available for pick up from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Delivery is also available.

Garden club meeting
The Richmond Hill Garden Club with hold its monthly meeting from 10 a.m. to noon Feb. 8 at the John W. Stevens Wetlands Education Center in J.F. Gregory Park.
The guest speaker is Coastal Georgia Audubon Society Vice President Bob Churi, who will speak on shore birds.

Planning retreat

Bryan County Family Connection will hold a planning retreat from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Feb. 9 at the Richmond Hill City Center.
Join BCFC as it brings community partners together to develop its plan for the year in addressing the challenges facing Bryan County’s children, families and residents. Lunch will be provided.
