Santa run: The Bryan County Fire Department South Division will be escorting Santa through neighborhoods in Richmond Hill and South Bryan from about 6-8:30 p.m. in the coming days.
Signs will be posted on subdivision entrances the day Santa is due to visit.
Schedules will be posted on the South Bryan Volunteer Facebook page.
Any toys donated during Santa’s visits will be delivered to the Pink Heals organization for distribution at the Backus Children’s Hospital at Memorial University Medical Center in Savannah.

Public Hearing
The Richmond Hill City Council will hold a public hearing at 7 p.m. Tuesday at City Hall.
The hearing is to obtain public input on a request to increase the number of lots in Richmond Hill Plantation from 750 lots originally approved.

Beasley raffle
Galbreath and Sons is hosting a raffle to help benefit the Beasley family, who lost two children and their Ellabell home to a fire in November.
Raffle tickets are on sale for the installation of a new 15 SEER Lennox heating and air system.
Lennox is donating the equipment and Galbreath and Sons is donating the labor.
Tickets are $20 and are for sale through Monday. One hundred percent of the proceeds will go directly to the Beasley family.

Library closed
The Richmond Hill Public Library will be closed Dec. 24-25 for the Christmas holiday.
The library will reopen at 10 a.m. Dec. 26.
The library will also close an hour early at 6 p.m. Dec. 31 and reopen Jan. 2 for the New Year’s holiday.
