Richmond Hill High School students in Russ Carpenter’s military history class took a field trip Friday to Hunter Army Airfield in Savannah and the Mighty 8th Air Force Museum in Pooler. At Hunter, the students saw several attack helicopters, including the Apache as well as a Chinook and a Blackhawk, and were briefed by pilots and crew of each helicopter. At the museum, students toured the facility with World War II pilot Paul Grassey.
