Angie Smith’s fifth-grade class at George Washington Carver Elementary School had a “tea” recently in honor of the royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton, now the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. The students dressed up for the event and sampled hot tea, homemade scones and other goodies while discussing highlights of the royal wedding. The class gives special thanks to Mrs. Toorani for making the homemade scones.
