Consistency carried Sarah Edwards to the championship of the Savannah Junior Golf Association’s final tournament of the summer.

Edwards shot an 86 on both days to finish at 172 and win the Matt Warren Memorial Championship, held July 27-28 at Savannah Golf Club.

Edwards, who turned 14 Saturday, won the girls’ 10-14 age division and was the girls’ overall champion by a 32-stroke margin.

The two-day, 36-hole Matt Warren Memorial Championship concluded the Savannah Junior Golf Association’s series of eight summer tournaments.
