Richmond Hill High School won its 2018 regular season opener 27-7 on Friday at Grovetown
Luke Carter was 7 of 10 for 100 yards passing and one TD. Aaron Bedgood caught two passes for 45 yards and a TD, and Kollins Pettaway had three catches for 31 years and a score.
Jamari Green ran six times for 35 yards and a touchdown.
Ruii Hernandez led the defense with 10 tackles, including three for loss. Jackson Bixler had seven tackles, a sack and a tackle for loss.
Anthony Salazar was 3 of 3 on extra point attempts, and hit field goals of 46 and 24 yards for the Wildcats.
Bedgood added a 74 yard punt return for RHHS, which led 10-0 at halftime.
The Wildcats have a bye week Aug. 24.
