Richmond Hill boys' basketball coach William Altman compared the Savannah Holiday Classic to a practice exam for the Region 2-AAAA tournament.
If that's the case, the Wildcats passed it with flying colors.
Richmond Hill (9-3) went 3-0 in the Classic and the Wildcats' 61-47 win over previously unbeaten Rockmart on Monday earned them the Washington Square bracket crown.
 “We knew they (Rockmart) were a good team and the real deal, so it would be interesting to see how we handled them in a championship atmosphere,” Altman said.
