Richmond Hill High School downed Brunswick 48-13 on Friday night on the Pirates’ home field

The Wildcats’ scored 28 unanswered points in the second quarter to lead 35-7 at half, and tacked on 13 points in the fourth quarter to seal the win.

Nathan Vickers was the Plantation Lumber and Hardware Player of the Game with 11 tackles, three sacks, one tackle for loss and four quarterback pressures.

Softball                    

The Richmond Hill High School softball team will take on Region 8 No. 1 seed Dacula in the second round of the state Class AAAAAA softball playoffs Oct. 15-16 in Dacula.

Richmond Hill (10-14 overall) advanced by sweeping Region 4 No. 3 seed Forest Park 15,-0, 21-0 in the first round Oct. 8 at RHHS.

The Lady Wildcats are the No. 2 seed from Region 2-AAAAAA.

 

Redskins fall to 0-6

Bryan County High School fell to 0-6 after losing 62-0 to Toombs County on Thursday night in Lyons.
