Well, if you enjoy pitching, you were in the right place if you were at Brunswick High School Wednesday night.  No, it wasn't former Brunswick native and recently retired  Major League Baseball, pitcher Adam Wainwright.  Instead, you got to see a show put on by Wildcat Bryce Hendricks, and Brunswick Pirate, Jordan Lodise.

Lodise struck out six and only allowed four hits.  Hendricks threw 108 pitches, striking out five and also allowing only four hits.  The only run of the ballgame came in the top of the fifth, when Lee Johnson leads off with a sharp single to left field.  Noah Stone executes a nice bunt to move Johnson over to second, then Grant Wagner hits the first pitch he sees to centerfield to drive in Johnson.  In the bottom of the seventh, pitcher Bryce Hendricks make a nice defensive play by fielding a bunt and throwing out a Pirate trying to advance to third.  Afterwards, Hendricks gets a couple fly outs to end the ballgame.  Wagner ended up with two hits and one RBI, to lead everyone at the plate.

Thursday, 3/21, the Pirates travel back to Richmond Hill to square off again at 6 p.m.
