The Regional Industry Support Enterprise will host an eight-county (Bryan, Bulloch, Candler, Chatham, Effingham, Evans, Liberty and Screven) job fair Wednesday, Sept. 2, 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. at Enmarket Arena, 620 Stiles Ave.

The RISE Job Palooza is the largest multi-county hiring effort in the Savannah region, offering job seekers access to a wide range of career opportunities under one roof. Last year’s event had 124 employers actively hiring and attracted more than 2,400 job seekers.

The job fair is open to all job seekers. There are no parking fees at the arena.

The first 300 job seekers will receive a voucher good for a meal that day at Enmarket Arena. To receive, job seekers will need to complete a short survey.

“Job Palooza provides an important opportunity to connect all job seekers across our region to companies that are actively hiring,” said RISE President and CEO Anna Chafin.

On-site resume assistance including creating and printing resumes will be available. In addition to meeting with hiring employers, job seekers can connect with workforce and community partners offering valuable tools and support for advancing their careers.

Chafin added, “We encourage those that have a resume to bring copies with them for potential employers. If they do not have a resume or do not have access to a printer, WorkSource Coastal will be on site to provide assistance in creating and printing resumes.”

The City of Savannah and Enmarket Arena are presenting sponsors of RISE Job Palooza. Additional sponsor includes the Savannah Economic Development Authority.
