Wildcats, Redskins fall in football

The Vidalia Indians kept their undefeated season alive as they jumped out to a 35-0 halftime lead against the visiting Redskins of
Bryan County and cruised to a 42-7 win.

Richmond Hill Wildcats lost a hard fought battle to Ware Co 27-24. After falling behind 14-0 at the half the Wildcats stormed back to lead the Gators 24-21 with 33 seconds remaining until Ware scored the games final TD on a 11 yd run. RH offense was led by Senior QB Dominique Allen with 110 yards on 25 carries and a TD run. Allen also added a scoring pass of 47 yards to Senior WR Hank Ferendo. Senior RB David Katzman had 21 rushes for 96 yards. Wildcats other scores came on 3 FG's by Senior Kicker Canon Rooker and a safety by Senior DE Zach Stegner. The defense was led by Senior DT Jonathon Thomas with 6 tackles. Stegner and Senior DB each added 5 tackles. Junior DB Ian Chandler had an Int. Richmond Hill falls to 5-2, next up for Wildcats is Bradwell Institute next week in Richmond Hill for Senior Night.
