Marcus Johnson’s eighth-inning RBI single lifted Bryan County to a 4-3 win over McIntosh County Academy on Thursday in a Region 2-AA baseball game.
Dillon Pittman was 3-for-3 and Kyle Koskela got the win for the Redskins.

Moultrie sisters win again
Bryan County High School’s Vivian and Keyvona Moultrie picked up wins against host Metter in Region 2-AA tennis action Thursday.
Vivian Moultrie won her No. 1 single’s match against Monda Napthiel, 6-4, 6-1. Keyvona Moultrie won 6-0, 6-1 in No. 2 singles’ action.
The Lady Redskins lost the match, howeve,r 3-2.
The boys’ fell 5-0.

Wildcats second in golf match
Richmond Hill High School carded a 178 to finish second in a three-team golf match Thursday at Hutner Army Airfield.
Savannah Arts Academy won the event, shooting a 172. Low medalist was SAA’s Gus Beisel, who finished with a 30.
Richmond Hill’s top four were Austin Gilliam with a 41; Patrick Gale had a 43; Nicholas Gondroski finished with a 47 and Garrett Garner shot a 47.
A team comprised of golfers from Chatham schools finished third.
The Wildcats will compete Tuesday at Sterling Links.
