Richmond Hill Middle School won the girls’ Coastal Empire Region soccer title with a 2-0 win over top-seeded Ebenezer on April 9.
The Lady Wildcats (10-2) got a goal each from Grace Kiser and Logan Martin in the title game.
Richmond Hill, which outscored opponents 35-10 during the season, advanced to the championship game with a 4-0 win over Effingham County in the opening round of the tournament and a 3-1 second-round win over Southeast Bulloch.
The Lady Wildcats are coached by Lance Byrd and assistant Keith Hadley. The team consists of Ally Denius, Madison Grall, Hailey Howard, Samantha Howely, Caroline Infinger, Bailey King, Grace Kiser, Logan Martin, Madeline Martinson, Makinley Pack, Sky Patterson, Hailey Rey, Ruthie Riley, Alexis Rodriguez, Raquel Rondeau, Christina Rymer, Cierra Thatcher, Carly Vargas, Kelsee Walter, Avery Waters and Loren Whitley.
