Congressman Jack Kingston, R-Ga., played third base for the Republican team in the annual Congressional Baseball Game for Charity held June 13 at Nationals Park in Washington, D.C.
Though Kingston has worn a variety of jerseys in the game over the years, including Armstrong Atlantic University, Savannah Sand Gnats, and even a St. Andrews Prep School jersey where his son went to school, Kingston wore a University of Georgia baseball jersey in honor of his alma matter.
The jersey was presented to him by the University Athletic Association during the Georgia State Republican Convention in Athens last month.
