Bryan County sweeps Savannah Christian
Beasley reaches 1,000 point plateau, Howard jersey retired

The Bryan County High School boys' and girls basketball teams swept Savannah Christian on Tuesday night in Pembroke.
Diamond Mcgirt led the Lady Redskins to a 64-34 win with 21 points while Tiffany Howard added 17 and Satashala Beasley chipped in 13. Beasley scored her 1,000 career point during the game and Howard's softball jersey number was retired at halftime of the boys' game.
In the boy's game, Akaya Johnson, Jaylan Rawls and Jeremy McClendon socred in double figures as the Redskins pulled out a 66-65 win. Johnson had 17, Rawls 15 and McClendon 15.
