11 Lady Wildcats earn honors
Kollman named 2-AAAA's top coach

The Richmond Hill High School Lady Wildcats went 16-3-1 and won their first Region 2A-AAAA title i first season in the region.
It showed in the postseason awards.
The Lady Wildcats had 11 players named to the All-Region 2-AAAA team and coach Steve Kollman was named the top girls' coach in the region.
"As our program gained its footing in the larger classification, our girls stepped up to the challenge of working harder and playing with a higher level of competitiveness and passion," Kollman said. "The region coaches were impressed by our girls efforts and recognized these young ladies as standouts in the region. With eight of the 11 players returning, we certainly hope to take the step up to compete for the state championship next season."
Making first team were senior foward Lindsey Vasher and Saarah Goolsby. Midfielders Caitlin Uhlig, a senior, and Julia Marcotte, a junior, also made first team along with senior defender Elizabeth Campbell and junior defender Lisa Barnes.
The Lady Wildcaat's honorable mention picks were all sophomores --- midfielders Katlin Taylor, Kaylin Taylor, Marjan Mustafa, defender Christina Pitts and keeper Lauren Chesney.
