Daniel Baptist Church Pastor Alfred Banks took second place in last week’s annual Faster Pastor Race at Oglethorpe Speedway.

Banks, who is a regular driver in the pure stock division, was in the lead for every lap except for the final one which saw Deacon Sean Silverman from Assembly of God Church in Rincon take the checkered flag.

This marks the fifth Faster Pastor Race Banks has participated in – he placed second twice before and fourth one year. Above is a photo of Banks (right) with crew chief Bobby Lee Sauls and crew member Bobby Sauls.
