Former BoE candidate endorses Krupp
Letter to the editor

Editor, Taking a leap of faith this election season and throwing my own name in the hat was such a great experience. Although I may have fallen short, I am thankful for those of you who supported me. I have made some great friendships and relationships with people that I never would have otherwise.

One such relationship was with one of my opponents. It seems that this election has rallied up a lot of conversation regarding unity. There are people who are for unity, and there are others who talk about unity.

Friends, Karen Krupp is the best candidate for vice chairman of the Bryan County Board of Education. Karen believes in our students, believes in our teachers and paraprofessionals, and is committed to serving them. Karen is honest, levelheaded and can make the best-informed decision based upon her relentless dedication to researching an unbiased and conflict-free solution. She also is the only candidate who has proven that, as she has volunteered and served in Bryan County Schools tirelessly or been a substitute teacher prior to her qualification as a candidate. I am thankful for her character and dedication to our community and thankful for her friendship.

Early voting has begun and Election Day is July 26. Please come out and vote one more time. Vote Karen Krupp for vice chairman of the Bryan County Board of Education.

Drew R. Humphreys
