Work scheduled for I-95 in Liberty County

Liberty CountyDOUBLE LANE CLOSURES PLANNED FOR I-95 NORTH WHEN:           7 p.m. — 7 a.m., Tuesday, July 21 through Friday, July 24, 2009, weather permitting WHERE:        Interstate 95 north, MP 66 to MP 68, MP 68 to MP 71 and MP 71 to MP 74 WHAT:           Work on bridge approaches will require 2 of 3 lanes close temporarily on three consecutive nights. Interstate 95 south traffic will not be affected in these locations.  This is a WORK ZONE and extreme caution is necessary.  Motorists are advised to reduce speeds as they travel through this construction work zone. Message signs, barrels and cones will be utilized to alert the public of the upcoming changes. Georgia DOT endeavors to work with the community and minimize traffic delays caused by construction.
