Subsidized housing near Ford Plantation?

Plans are in the works for an “affordable housing” apartment complex across Hwy. 144 from the Ford Plantation. And though an official application for the project has yet to be submitted to the city, residents of the prestigious neighborhood have already begun voicing some opposition.
Steve Croy, with project site owner Calibre Inc., presented conceptual plans for Park Crest Terrace – a 79-unit apartment complex on about 10 acres in the northwest corner of the Plantation Village site – to the Richmond Hill City Council during its regular meeting Tuesday.
