A cold front moved through Coastal Georgia late Saturday-early Sunday with lightning and lots of rain.
A tornado watch was issued early Saturday and extended into Sunday morning, but the only suspected funnel was in the Valdosta area, according to the National Weather Service.
There were no reports of serious damage in our area.
Storms may continue into Sunday afternoon and temperatures are expected to drop.

Today: Rain likely and possibly a thunderstorm before 2 p.m., then a chance of rain. Some of the storms could produce heavy rainfall. Mostly cloudy, with a temperature falling to around 44 by 5 p.m. Windy, with a west wind between 21-26 mph, with gusts as high as 36 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70 percent. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
