Storms move through

A cold front moved through Coastal Georgia late Saturday-early Sunday with lightning and lots of rain.
A tornado watch was issued early Saturday and extended into Sunday morning, but the only suspected funnel was in the Valdosta area, according to the National Weather Service.
There were no reports of serious damage in our area.
Storms may continue into Sunday afternoon and temperatures are expected to drop.
Here is the weather service's forecast:
Today: Rain likely and possibly a thunderstorm before 2 p.m., then a chance of rain. Some of the storms could produce heavy rainfall. Mostly cloudy, with a temperature falling to around 44 by 5 p.m. Windy, with a west wind between 21-26 mph, with gusts as high as 36 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70 percent. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

Tonight: A chance of rain before 1 a.m. Cloudy, then gradually becoming partly cloudy, with a low around 33. Breezy, with a northwest wind between 16 and 24 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent.

Monday: Sunny, with a high near 47. North wind between 10 and 16 mph.

Monday Night: Clear, with a low around 27. Northwest wind between 4 and 7 mph becoming calm.

Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 59. Calm wind becoming north between 7 and 10 mph.
