The Coastal Health District Adolescent Health & Youth Development and Savannah Prevention Center have teamed up with Bryan County Family Connection to offer its first Save a Life Youth Health Summit in Bryan County.
The event is for youth ages 10-19. Parents and educators are encouraged to participate.
It will be held Saturday, June 23, from 9 a.m.to 4 p.m. at the Richmond Hill Teen Center, 185 Ball Park Road.
The Youth Summit will include:
- ·Free CPR heartsaver certification class
- Free education on suicide prevention, bullying
prevention, and bystander intervention. Note: Educators completing the suicide
prevention education session will get one clock hour for The National Board of
Certified Counselors, Inc. (NBCC) Continuing Education
- Free lunch will be provided. There will be raffle
prizes and giveaways.
