The Rotary Club of Richmond Hill hosted their annual fundraiser last week at Bubba’s Bistro to have fun and more importantly raise funds to support the civic group’s initiatives to support those in need in our community.

Guests enjoyed appetizers, drinks, live music and camaraderie, and a raffle draw for a golf cart, a Traeger grill and a cash prize.

“We are grateful to all of our sponsors that made this event a success and to everyone who purchased tickets. Special thanks to Quality Cars and Carts for providing the golf cart, Royal Ace Hardware for providing the grill, and members of the Rotary Club of Richmond Hill for sponsoring the cash prize and raffle tickets,” said Rotary Club president Emily Kurilla “We were fortunate that our fundraiser attracted over $18,000 in sponsorship and ticket sales and this will enable us to continue to help people in our community.”

This year, Alex Tucker won the golf cart, Wayne Mitchell won the grill and Shannon Bocook won the $500 cash prize. Sponsors included Great Oaks Bank, Henderson Law Firm, Pittman Engineering, Coastal EMC, Gary and Jill Stanberry for Mc-Donald’s, Coastal Endodontics, Gardner Law Firm, The Suites at Station Exchange, Richmond Hill Pharmacy, Lesley Francis Public Relations, First Bank of Coastal Georgia, Southeastern Bank Bocook Realty, Robbie and Lisa Ward, Susan Lyon of Edward Jones, Gaster Lumber and Dixon and Lasseter. Rotarians contribute their time, energy and passion to sustainable, long-term projects in local communities across the globe.
