Roadwork on I-95 at Hwy. 17 overpass scheduled June 29-30

Work crews will be working on I-95 the Hwy. 17 overpass beginning Monday, June 29.

Here's more information from a Georgia Department of Transportation press release:

WHEN:           7 p.m.—7:00 a.m., Monday, June 29, 20097 p.m.—7:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 30, 2009 WHERE:        I-95 southbound from Milepost 65 to Milepost 67WHAT:          Georgia DOT crews will seal cracks on bridge deck at Hwy 17 overpass. Northbound traffic will not be affected by repair on southbound bridge deck. This is a WORK ZONE and extreme caution is necessary.  Motorists are advised to reduce speeds as they travel through this construction work zone. Message signs, barrels and cones will be utilized to alert the public of the upcoming changes. Georgia DOT endeavors to work with the community and minimize traffic delays caused by construction.
