A woman reported March 10 that her granddaughter got a suspicious phone call, then let her granddaughter tell the police what had happened.

“According to the juvenile, she was sleeping last evening and was awakened by her phone ringing,” and when she saw it was a Facetime call, she thought it was someone she knew.

The juvenile stated that she immediately saw, on her phone screen, a male (doing something sexual),” and that she immediately hung up and blocked the phone number.

The officer checked the number and after a Google search saw it came from the United Kingdom. The girl said there wasn’t a face in the video.

“(The grandmother) stated that she understood it would be difficult to identify a suspect in this incident, but advised that she wanted law enforcement to have this information in the event that the person who placed the phone call might be identified.”
