The Richmond Hill Police Department is asking for the public’s help to find thieves who have been stealing items from businesses and work sites in the area.

According to the department’s Facebook page, lawn and garden equipment, open trailers and enclosed utility trailers have been taken from sites in Richmond Hill and area jurisdictions.

RHPD Detective Doug Sahlberg said there is video of the thieves in action at some of the sites, but it is hard to get specifics off the video. Also, the suspects use lookouts to warn them of approaching law enforcement.

Anyone who sees suspicious activity should call the RHPD dispatch center at 912-756-2626. To report information on the thefts, call Sahlberg at 912-756-2697.
