Bryan County Emergency Services was dispatched and responded to a mobile home fire on Clarence Smith Road in Ellabell early this morning.

On arrival to the residence the responding units found a double wide mobile home fully involved. Resident was not home at the time of the fire. BCES personnel were able to do a defensive attack and contain the fire to the single residence with no reports of injuries made.

The Pembroke Fire Department assisted with personnel and apparatus. The State Fire Marshal’s office has been contacted and a possible investigation is pending.
